Introduction
LLMWeave ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address — Used for authentication and account recovery
- Sign-in method — Whether you use email and password, email one-time code (OTP), or a supported single sign-on provider
- Display name — Your chosen name, if provided
Content You Create
We store the content you generate through the service:
- Prompts — Questions and instructions you submit to LLM models
- Weave results — Model responses and synthesized outputs from your weaves
- Workflow configurations — Custom workflows you build in The Loom
- Projects — User-created folders you use to organize weaves and other content
- Personas — Custom judge prompts and saved judging styles
- Settings and preferences — Model selections, judge instructions, and UI preferences
Files You Upload
When you upload files to use with the service, we store:
- The file itself — Stored in private file storage operated by our hosting provider (see Third-Party Services)
- Processed file content — Text or other derived content needed to provide the service
- File metadata — Information such as filename, file type, size, and other processing metadata
File uploads are available on paid plans only. Uploaded files are not public, and each read is gated either by your authenticated session or by signed, time-limited URLs.
Our file retention policy is generally 10 days for files attached to a weave on Pro and Pro+ plans and 30 days on Team plans. Files uploaded but never attached to a weave are generally deleted within 24 hours.
When you attach a file to a weave, we share the information needed to let the selected model process that attachment. See Third-Party Services below for the routing provider's identity and data-handling policy.
Teams
If you are part of a team, additional account data is processed:
- Team-wide visibility — Team members, including owners and admins, can view content created by anyone on the same team, such as prompts, weave results, workflows, and projects. Joining a team means consenting to share this content with other active members of that team.
- Billing data — Team owners and admins can see each member's credit usage, weave counts, and allocation status as needed for billing and per-member credit allocation.
- Admin controls — Team admins can manage member allocations, invites, and team membership.
If you do not want content to be visible to your teammates, do not create it while your account is associated with a team.
Legal Acceptance
When you sign up, we record the timestamp and version of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy you accepted. We use this information only to prove acceptance and to determine when you need to re-accept after a material policy change.
Usage Data
We automatically collect:
- Token usage — Number of tokens consumed per weave for billing purposes
- Model selection — Which LLM models you use
- Cost data — Estimated and actual cost per weave, with per-model breakdown
- Credit transactions — Purchases, usage, and refunds logged for billing transparency
Payment Information
We use a third-party payment processor (see Third-Party Services below). We store:
- Payment processor customer ID — Links your account to the processor for billing
- Subscription status — Your current plan and billing cycle
- Credit balance — Your platform credit balance in cents
We never store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment instruments. All payment data is handled exclusively by our payment processor.
API Keys (BYOK)
If you connect your own OpenRouter API key, it is encrypted using industry-standard encryption before storage. We never log or display your key in plaintext. You can disconnect your key at any time.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the service
- Route your prompts to third-party LLM providers through our routing provider
- Route your uploaded files to third-party LLM providers through our routing provider when attached to a weave
- Synthesize and store weave results
- Track usage for billing and credit management
- Send account-related emails (sign-in codes, password resets)
- Improve the service
Web Search
Web search is an optional feature available to paid users only. When enabled, models may issue live web searches. Search queries and the returned results pass through our LLM routing provider and an underlying search provider, each of which may log or retain the data according to their own policies (see Third-Party Services below).
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate LLMWeave:
- OpenRouter — Our LLM routing provider. Routes your prompts, any file contents you attach, and any web search queries and results to third-party LLM providers (such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Meta, and others). Review OpenRouter's privacy policy and the underlying model providers' policies for how they handle data.
- Supabase — Database hosting and authentication
- Cloudflare — CDN, hosting, and DDoS protection
- Stripe — Payment processing (we never store your payment details)
- Resend — Transactional email delivery
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data in these cases:
- LLM providers — Your prompts are sent to AI model providers through our routing provider to generate responses
- Service providers — Listed above, strictly to operate the service
- Legal requirements — If required by law
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — View all data associated with your account
- Export — Download a copy of your weaves, workflows, personas, and credit transactions via Settings → Export Data. If you need data that is not covered by the in-product export, contact us at contact@llmweave.com.
- Delete — Permanently delete your account and all data via Settings → Delete Account. Active subscriptions are canceled automatically.
- Rectify — Edit your profile and settings at any time
- Transaction history — View all credit transactions (purchases, per-weave costs, refunds) in Settings → Transaction History
Data Retention
Uploaded files follow the retention schedule described in the Files You Upload section above.
All other account data is retained for the lifetime of your account and removed within 30 days of account deletion.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections, secure authentication, and access controls to protect your data. No security measure is 100% effective; we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident that materially affects your personal data, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
International Data Transfers
We use the service providers listed in Third-Party Services above, whose infrastructure may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information may be processed outside your country of residence, where data protection laws may differ.
Regional Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, California, or another jurisdiction with equivalent data protection laws, you may have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, the right to object to certain processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the website.
